THE KEDGE - HISTORIC HOUSE TOUR

The Kedge, built in 1870 and originally known as the Veazie Cottage, has been an integral part of Bar Harbor's history since the very dawn of its fame as a summer resort. It is the oldest surviving summer cottage in the town and renowned for its elegance and charm. A national historic landmark, it is now open for interior tours. The cottage features period antiques and furnishings, fine woodwork, original vintage paintings and prints, and more. So take a memorable trip back to Bar Harbor's Golden Age, and learn the story of the town and cottage.
The tour includes Victorian refreshments on the porch. Tours daily at 11am, Wednesday evenings at 8. Private tours by arrangement. Reservations
