Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are world-class travel destinations. The Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce offers its members a wide array of marketing opportunities that otherwise would be too costly for a business to do on its own. Marketing is an important component of any successful business or destination. We want to provide as many opportunities and options as possible in order to provide the right opportunity for your business. Please note that not all marketing opportunties are available to all members.

Visitor's Guide
The Visitor's Guide continues to be a valuable marketing tool for Chamber members. Distributing information about Bar Harbor and your business to visitors before they have a made critical decisions about where they will stay, eat, shop, as well as the activities in which they will engage, continues to be the primary objective of the Visitor's Guide. The Guides are distributed in a number of different outlets to ensure the highest potential exposure. Each year the Chamber distributes 225,000 guides through direct visitor requests, in State of Maine Visitor Centers, through paid distribution in the Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Coastal Connecticut metro areas along with bulk distribution to AAA travel agencies, and countless visitors in the Acadia Welcome Center in Trenton.

Maine Invites You Co-op 2010
Maine Invites You is a publication of the Maine Tourism Association. It is the most comprehensive visitors guide to the State of Maine. It is also the primary publication used by the Maine Office of Tourism to promote Maine. Maine Invites You has a circulation of 350,000 copies and has an electronic version on the web at mainetourism.com. The Maine Invites You publication has a proven ability to reach Bar Harbor's best markets and it plays an important role in providing visitors and potential visitors information on our area.
